Service Rates
Commercial Sanitation is based on size of container as well as the frequency of pickups.
Where additional pickups (special pickups) are required, a minimum fee of $50 per container (dumpster) will be charged. The Director of Environmental Services shall base additional charges by time required to empty said container(s) on the basis of manpower and equipment.

There is a minimum sewer charge as per City Ordinance located in Sec. 43-228. It states, "A minimum sewer user charge shall apply for the first 2,000 gallons of wastewater contributed by a user per month, to the sanitary sewer system. All users contributing less than 2,000 gallons of wastewater in any month shall be charged as though they had contributed 2,000 gallons of wastewater during that month."

Initial set-up is determined on the number of people in the household.
After customer has had services long enough for us to get a winter average, we then use that average to charge for sewage services and that rate would be $4.53 per thousand gallons of water being used. Non-water accounts have a flat rate and the customer is asked annually (by letter from the City’s Customer Service Department) about the number of people in the household.
