Solid Waste/Trash Services
The Department's primary purpose is to collect and dispose of all accumulated refuse to maintain a safe and clean environment for families and businesses. This division is also a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).
Residential Solid Waste (Trash) Collection
For residential solid waste (trash) collection, please make sure your green polycart is:
- Placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. You can place your cart at the curb as early as 7 p.m. on the evening prior to your collection.
- Placed at the curb at least 5 feet from other carts, your mailbox, and any other object.
- Not blocked by any parked vehicle. Please make sure any landscape companies or mowers working for you don't park where your cart is blocked or partially blocked by their vehicle or trailer. If your cart is blocked by a vehicle, it cannot be collected.
