Neighborhood Initiative

Who we are:

The Neighborhood Initiative Division functions as a conduit for connecting the residents of Midwest City with the plentiful resources and opportunities available to them.

What we do:

Utilizing our skills and resources, we work daily to encourage a harmonious relationship between the city and its residents. We assist residents with establishing neighborhood associations, co-host a massive food drive each year with Sam’s Club where the proceeds stay in Midwest City; and most of all, enjoy alleviating an array of needs by utilizing volunteer groups to help accomplish multiple community outreach events each year.

Our mission:

Side by side with our Community Action Officers, we seek to identify and solve the needs of individuals and family groups within Midwest City. Our success is realized through community-oriented policing, neighborhood association gatherings, and numerous community outreach and education events each year.
