Overview
The Planning Commission shall have the power and duty to make and recommend to the City Council the adoption of a comprehensive plan and, when necessary, amendments to said plan for the development of the City. The Commission has the duty of the recommendation to the City Council regarding the approval of the subdivision of land within the City. The Commission shall also act as the Zoning Commission and shall have the power to recommend to the council approval or denial of zoning request.
Members are appointed by the Mayor, approved by the City Council, and serve three year terms.
