Checklist
- Is your storm shelter cleaned out and ready for use?
- Have you checked your flashlights and spare batteries?
- Do you have multiple ways to receive current weather information? (NOT just multiple smartphone apps)
- Is your NOAA weather radio programmed and working? And is the weather feature turned on?
- Are you checking the local forecast at least daily?
- Do you have an emergency action plan?
- Is everyone in your household aware of the plan?
- Have you practiced your plan?
- Does your plan include your pets? Have you practiced with them?
