Electronics Recycling

Acceptable Electronics include Microwaves, remotes, radios, VHS players, etc.

The Midwest City Household Hazardous Waste Facility can accept most electronics into the electronics recycling program.

Acceptable electronics include:

  • Microwaves
  • Computers
  • Cell Phones
  • Stereos/Radios
  • Gaming Consoles
  • DVD/VHS Players
  • Clocks/Alarms
  • Other small electronics

Televisions may be disposed of for a small fee through the following local businesses:

  • Best Buy (405) 733-4289 (at a cost of $29.99 per TV) will accept tube televisions under 32" and flat panel TVs under 50". There is a limit of 2 TVs per day.   • Computer Nation/Computer Recycling Central (405) 232-0211 will accept televisions with no restriction on size.  Televisions may be disposed of at a cost of $0.90 per pound and CRT computer monitors under 17" cost $8.00, over 19" is $10 each.
