Removal of Storm-related Vegetative Debris

On Monday, November 9 crews started the first of two passes picking up storm-related vegetative debris (branches, bushes, shrubs) in residential areas. The crews started on the east side of our city working toward the west side in square mile quadrants.

The current pass (First Pass) to pick up storm-related tree limbs and other vegetative debris will continue through January 21, 2021 (Previous predicted date was January 11, 2021). Please make sure your debris is already at the curb and do not park vehicles in front of the piles.

2020 Winter Storm Recovery Update Number 6

On Monday, October 26, Governor Stitt declared a State of Emergency for 47 counties, including Oklahoma County. On November 13, Governor Stitt requested a Major Disaster Declaration from the federal government related to the devastating early season ice storm. The request covered 13 counties, including Oklahoma Country. As of today (December 9) there has not been a federal disaster declaration but we are hopeful it will be approved soon.
