Current Planning Division

The Current Planning Division is responsible for overseeing the residential and commercial development within Midwest City. In many ways, we are the starting point for all development.

Our department is also the point of contact for zoning information and requests to change the zoning of property, as well as the subdivision or the platting of property. Requests for rezoning, subdivision and platting all require a pre-application meeting with staff and a public hearing before the Planning Commission and City Council.
