Metal, Tire & Large Appliance Recycling
The Midwest City Household Hazardous Waste Facility now accepts automobile tires and large recyclable metal items.
Acceptable metal items that may be brought in for recycling include:
- Bike frames
- Refrigerators & Freezers
- Window A/C units and dehumidifiers
- Ovens
- Washers & Dryers
- Metal sheeting
- Tire rims
Non-acceptable metal items include:
- Chain link fencing
- Barbed wire
Tires must be standard automobile size or smaller, and have most of the rims removed. Limited to 20 tires dropped off in one setting.
