Invitation to August 28 Grand Opening of the Midwest City Animal Services Center

PARKING AVAILABLE AT JOE B. BARNES REGIONAL PARK

We're so excited to finally be able to hold our Grand Opening for the new Animal Services Center here in Midwest City. Animal Welfare has been operating out of the facility for a month now, which has allowed them to settle in to their new home. Now, they're ready for you to see it.

If you haven't had a chance to experience the facility yet, please take this opportunity. We would also encourage you to consider adopting a furry new family member while you're there!

We have some onsite fun planned for you at the Grand Opening. Here are some of the highlights:

  • First 10 Dog Adoptions Free (first come, first serve)
  • Upbeat Treats - 1 free snow cone to the first 100 visitors (other food/beverage items for sale)
  • Friends of the Shelter - Onsite microchipping for pets ($25 each, dogs & cats)
  • Good Dogma - Onsite pet ID tags (free, limited supply)
  • Homemade dog treats (donation requested, limited supply)
  • MWC Animal Welfare pet licensing (free during the event)
  • Dog Run donation table (help us build a larger Dog Run for the Animal Services Center)
