Firefighter

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Firefighter. Incumbent fights fires, provides emergency medical services, and response to other emergency incidents to save lives and property. Performs related prevention, education, and support activities.  Must possess H.S. diploma or equivalent, valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable. Must meet medical requirements set forth by the OK FF Pension & Retirement System. EMT-B National Registry is required. Preferred skills include FFI, FF2, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Ops, Intro to Technical Rescue, Vehicle Extrication, current CPR card, LPG Emergency Operations, WMD Awareness, Intro to Computers, & NIMS (IMS).  Starting salary:  $49,498/yr.  All Applicants must successfully complete a National Testing Network written and CPAT exam prior to 7/3/2023 to be considered.
