Aquatics Coordinator
The City of Midwest City is currently accepting applications for Aquatics Coordinator in the Parks and Recreation Department. The incumbent, under the general supervision of the Parks and Recreation Supervisor, assists with development and is responsible for the organization and coordination of swimming pool programs and maintenance. High school graduate or equivalent required. 2 years related experience and/or training, and 12 to 18 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Nationally recognized Lifeguarding Certification- Basic First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, CPR/AED (American Red Cross, YMCA, StarGuard or Ellis & Assoc (shallow & deep water)). Experience in the development of staff, programs and the operation and maintenance of swimming pools with Lifeguard Instructor Certification preferred. Applicant must be 18 years old or older. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable. This position is designated safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Seasonal position.
