Overview
This Committee is made up of five members; one from the Builder’s Advisory Board, one from the Parks and Recreation Board, one from the Planning Commission, one from the Tree Board and one appointed by the Mayor. All serve through their terms on their designated boards, with the exception of the member appointed by the Mayor, who serves three year terms.
Chapter 38 Sec. 38-65. 120. Park Land Review Committee:
The Park Land Review Committee is hereby established in accordance with Article X of the City Charter. The park land review committee is charged with the exercising that authority established in article X of the City Charter and is an authorized decision-maker for section 38-51.
The Park Land Review Committee shall consist of one (1) representative from each of the following:
(1) Builders' Advisory Board of Midwest City;
(2) Park and Recreation Board of Midwest City;
(3) Planning Commission of Midwest City;
(4) Tree Board of Midwest City; and
(5) One (1) citizen appointed by the mayor for a term of three (3) years, or longer until such time as a replacement is named.
The Park Land Review Committee shall be provided support, as it deems necessary, by the various departments of the City.
