Start Smart Baseball

Due to remodeling at the Community Center
will class will not be held in 2008.

Sign Ups January 5—30
Ages 3-5
$40.00.
This is a development program that teaches a variety
of baseball skills including throwing, catching, batting
and running.
Sign Ups for the next program will begin January 2008.
The program will last 3 weeks, 2 classes per week.
Program will start mid-February 2008.

Spring League—Fast & Slow Pitch ages 5—16
Games are played at Regional Park Softball Complex (Reno & Douglas.) Games are played on Monday's, Tuesday's, & Thursday's.
Sign Ups for the 2006 Spring League will start in January 2006. Games will start mid-April.

National Youth Sports Coaches Association

All volunteer coaches must attend a clinic to be certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. The NYSCA clinic is a 3 hour training clinic costing $20.00. Midwest City Parks and Recreation currently offers clinics for
baseball, softball, football,and t-ball.  These coaches
clinics are held in March.

The local event will be in September 17th at 6:00pm at Regional Park Softball Complex (Reno & Douglas.)

Each participant will compete against others within their age group in punting, passing, and kicking a football.

Local schools will do preliminaries and then send the 1st and 2nd place winners from each age division to the Midwest City local Punt, Pass, and Kick event.

Sponsored by Kiwanis of Midwest City.
