H.R. Responsibilities
The Human Resources Department is responsible for coordinating the personnel administration and labor relations activities throughout the City workforce, ensuring all Merit System, State and Federal employment guidelines are met.

Major activities include: H.R. records, salary/benefit surveys, task analysis, new employee orientation, labor negotiations, contract administration, recruitment and selection, health benefits, promotional testing, development and implementation of H. R. policies and procedures.

Job applications may be picked up at the Human Resources Department located on the first floor of the Municipal Building, 100 N. Midwest Boulevard ( N.E. corner of Midwest Boulevard and Reno) or download from our website (click on Job Postings above.) Applications are accepted at the H.R. Department between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
