Development Activities

Economic Development Activities -- Due to funding constraints, economic development activities have ended.  

Infrastructure Grant Program -- provided infrastructure improvement grants for businesses that improved/expanded their facilities in Midwest City and agreed to create full-time permanent jobs made available to persons of low and moderate income. Participating businesses:

Economic Development Gap Financing Program -- provided financial assistance to private sector businesses located or locating in Midwest City. The purpose of the activity was to create/retain private sector jobs principally for persons from low and moderate income households and to improve the economy of Midwest City. Participating businesses:

Primo's d'Italia Restaurant


Other Activities

Share-A-Fare Program -- Midwest City Hall serves as an outlet for the Share-A-Fare Program, a subsidized taxi service available to senior citizens over age 62 and disabled persons. Approved applicants can purchase up to (5) taxi coupon books a month for $6.00 each. Each coupon book has $10.00 worth of taxi coupons redeemable like cash for taxi fares. Only Midwest City residents may purchase coupon books at Midwest City Hall .
