SWIM AND SLIDE SWIMMING POOL – The City of Midwest City is taking
applications for Lifeguard at the Reno Swim and Slide swimming pool.
Seasonal position with no benefits.  $7.25 - $7.50 per hour.  For
further information on job requirements, please check the job postings
at City Hall.  Applications accepted until filled.   

GPS STORMWATER DATA COLLECTION – Undergraduate or graduate students
in Geography or related sciences to conduct GPS data collection of the
City’s stormwater system.  GPS experience preferred.  Must be at least
18 years of age, possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, and be
insurable.  Must pass a physical exam and drug screen.  Ability to walk
improved and unimproved drainage channels while carrying GPS equipment.
Ability to read and understand a data conversion specification and GPS
unit instructions.  30 – 40 hours per week.  Summer internship -
approximately June, 2009 to August 15, 2009Salary $10 per hour with
no benefits.  Applications accepted until filled.

STREET SUPERVISOR – Street/Parks Maintenance – Drainage Division.
Performs managerial work in planning/coordinating and supervising all
phases of construction and maintenance involved within the department.
Five years of progressively responsible full-time paid employment in
street construction and maintenance, including supervisory experience.
Engineering background preferred.  High school diploma or equivalent
required.  Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and be
insurable.  Salary $45,809 per year with benefits.  Applications

JUVENILE PROGRAM COORDINATOR – City Clerk Department –

Organizes and supervises community service program, initiates and maintains

positive contact with the community in regards to community projects and

resources as well as preparing performance reports on all juveniles participating

in various programs for the court.  HS diploma required, Associates Degree

preferred.  Experience working with troubled youth or a related field.  Variable

days and hours, including mornings, evenings, and some Saturdays.  20 – 25

hours per week.  Salary $10.50 per hour with no benefits.  Applications
